About the Corporate Event Photographer

Ed grew up in the business as a photojournalist working for the likes of the New York Times and National Geographic. He has photographed events ranging from presidential arrivals to Fortune 500 corporate events to news events in every conceivable venue. As a corporate event photographer, his strength is as a storyteller, so he makes pictures with a purpose and always sees the big picture while seeking authentic moments that characterize the events.

Ed’s focus is on photography for corporate events, institutional events, and all manner of commercial enterprises such as non-profit and business conferences and trade shows. You won’t see weddings, parties, or celebrity events in his event portfolio; just corporate events.

Comprehensive Event Photography Services

Event Photography Process

Ed’s process begins as a photojournalist. First, he asks what event photography services they are seeking. He will want to understand what the clients want from the event, i.e., authentic moments of people interacting with the presenters and environment, etc. Then, he will need a shot list so he knows the key events and people he needs to photograph. On the ground, he will always seek definitive moments of human interaction highlighting the larger story of the event.

In providing event photography services, he seeks overall images that give a sense of the scope and size of the event. He doesn’t have to be asked to get stage shots, audience photographs, engagement photographs, and key moments. It is part of his DNA. He seeks the definitive moments that bring the larger story to life. Key moments, anticipated moments, or spontaneous moments that characterize the event.

He honed this ability working as a photojournalist for major newspapers and every notable magazine in the United States. His commercial sensibilities make him the ideal event photographer for your project. Usually, we receive an event schedule with notes about specific events, people, and situations the client would like us to cover. After we edit the images, they are posted for review within three to five days. Those images can be downloaded at 2000 pixels wide or tall and the larger images are delivered via Dropbox.

Comprehensive Event Photography Coverage

For clients requiring multiple event photographers in Los Angeles to cover larger events or corporate headshots on-site, we can set up one or photography sets to do on-site portraits and bring in additional photographers. Additionally, we can shoot to an iPad for review and send images from the event location as they are happening for social media feeds. We can also deliver final event photographs within 24 hours if necessary. We usually arrive with our SLR gear work as quietly as possible.
