Fine Art Photography
Most of these images I shot wandering when I stumbled upon them during my travels. I was not looking for the images, they found me. There is one exception to these galleries, can you guess which one of the galleries was shot with intent?
My personal photography is a meditation in the landscapes I find myself in, and I don’t know that I could find images if I sought them. I think I need to be in a resting state to see them.
These images are a break from my commercial work precisely because I am not performing, there is no pressure to deliver, and because I am not exerting my expertise, but because I am just open to receiving.
I don’t consider myself a fine art photographer; at least I don’t identify myself as such. I am mainly a commercial photographer but this way of seeing influences my commercial photography as does the methods of photojournalism. My only method with most of these images is to wander.
I’d love your thoughts on the images.
