Photojournalism Project -ElderCare

Air BnB asked Ed to photograph a music and dance event, a promotional campaign titled “Hello LA.” The event featured a band, celebrities, dancing, and dance lessons. Ed’s job was to capture the spirit of the event that lasted eight hours, and during that time, he captured over 2500 images and delivered an edited batch of 300 images.

It was like shooting fish in a barrel because there was so much going on but everything from his choice of lenses, compositions, and experience came into play to create the narrative. His favorite images were of the salsa dancing classes that formed the pinnacle of the story.

It was essentially photojournalism for commercial usage and his two decades working as a photojournalist paid off in spades. The client loved the work.
